Kaleidoscope Beach

"As I took my final steps up the mountain, I gazed upon the breathtaking landscape. Various mountains were laid before me, the wind breezing gracefully around me, and the sounds of the waves washing ashore relaxed me. Strangely enough, on one side was the sun looking down at me and, on the other side was the moon just as visible. And as I looked upon the prestine landscape I thought to myself: Damn, am I even on earth?"

Phew! Finally its done! This took me about 2.5 hours to render, and an additional 10 hours to modify. At first, I was only going to have this with the landscape, but then I realized that would be way too bland. So I added a small starfield, better color and the planet/moon to the picture.

I would like to personally thank Mike-San17 for giving me the name for the picture because he always has some great ideas to see.
